Hanalei Beach

Hanalei Beach is really two beaches in one. The beach is 2 miles of golden sand and is home to picnic areas, restrooms, and fabulous ocean and mountain views. Swimming is excellent all year round. Body boarding, surfing, fishing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and boating are all activities well suited to this area. The beach is not crowded and is a favorite of locals.

Hanalei beach is located 3 miles from Nihilani. It is easy to get to. Turn right on Highway 56, drive to Hanalei and turn right on Aku Road, then right again on Weke Road. You will see the beach access.
