Princeville Information

Princeville is the largest planned development on the beautiful garden Island of Kauai. Princeville is known for its world glass golf courses and restaurants. Many beautiful beaches are located in the area. Pu’Poa (thumping point), Kenomene Beach, and Kaweoni Beach are to name a few. Shopping at the Princeville Shopping Center is convenient and close to home. The Center offers a variety of shops, two banks, a supermarket, a gas station, a coffee shop and two restaurants.

Relax at home or visit the Princeville Hotel (St. Regis) and enjoy an evening as the sunsets over Hanalei Bay.

There is so much to see and do near Princeville.  You may wish to take a short stroll through the town of Hanalei to see a few of the local sights.

The Wai'oli Hui'ia Church in Hanalei, Kauai is on the main road in Hanalei and has long been a favorite of Kauai residents, photographers, and tourists. Built in 1912, the green church blends in perfectly with its emerald surroundings. It is a museum in itself and rings Hawaiian hymns every Sunday morning.
Wild Chickens, roosters and families of baby chicks are everywhere, running through parking lots, backyards, roads, jungles and golf courses. The roosters are usually a beautiful red color, occasionally speckled with white spots. They do not just cock-a-doodle-doo at first light, but all day too.  Kauai had a few big storms years ago and since then the roosters and chickens have had free rein.
